刘玉萍，女，1976年10月出生，内蒙古鄂尔多斯人，2006年7月获南开大学理学博士学位，留校任教；2006.07-2008.12，南开大学化学学院，讲师；2009.01-至今，南开大学化学学院，副教授。主要从事纳米金属氧化物光催化剂制备及其用于芳烃有机污染物降解研究；同时还进行纳米材料表面与界面XPS分析。主持了博士点基金新教师项目1项和中央高校基本科研业务费1项，参与973重大研究计划2项以及国家基金委重大研究计划（培育项目）1项，主持横向课题2项。教学方面，负责本科生的《仪器分析实验》《基础分析实验》以及研究生的《研究生现代仪器分析实验》《材料结构分析实验》的教学。参与了《仪器分析实验》和《现代研究生仪器分析实验》教材的编写工作。
Born in 1976, Yuping Liu is an associate professor and master supervisor of the College of Chemistry, Nankai University. She is mainly engaged in the preparation of nanometer metal oxide photocatalysts and their application in the degradation of aromatic hydrocarbon organic pollutants, as well as the XPS analysis of the surface and interface of nanomaterials. She has undertaken 2 major research projects of 973, 1 major research project (cultivation project) of the National Fund Committee and 2 horizontal projects. In terms of teaching, associate professor Yuping Liu is responsible for the teaching of "Instrument Analysis Experiment", "Basic Analysis Experiment", "Graduate Modern Instrument Analysis Experiment" and "Material Structure Analysis Experiment". Meanwhile, she participated in the preparation of the textbooks "Instrument Analysis Experiment" and "Modern Graduate Instrument Analysis Experiment".
