Metal interstitial compounds are a type of metal interstitial compounds formed by interstitial insertion of non-metal atoms into a metal lattice. Mainly include: metal carbide, metal nitride, metal phosphide, etc. It has the components of metal bond, covalent bond and ionic bond at the same time, so it has the characteristics of covalent solid, ionic crystal and transition metal.
